Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel

Mondrian South Beach

This Morgans Hotel Group property is as fanciful as its views are beautiful. Inspired by Sleeping Beauty, Dutch designer Marcel Wanders fashioned this hip and dreamy hotel with Victorian-style columns, large golden bells with crystal chandeliers, and at the center of the lobby, a sculptural black spiral staircase. The poolscape is just as opulent as the rest—set in front of beautiful Biscayne Bay, it has tall hedges, oversized cabanas, red floor pillows, and a large Oriental rug.

The Betsy South Beach

With its impressive stature and Florida-Georgian architecture, this boutique hotel stands out on Art Deco-clad Ocean Drive. There is a rooftop spa, a separate rooftop pool with 360-degree views of Miami Beach, tropical décor, and award-winning Chef Laurent Tourondel’s restaurant, LT Steak & Seafood.

The Deal: Book a room at this hotel and take advantage of a deal that’s only good for 2017. The Betsy South beach made Condé Nast Traveler’s 2017 Gold List, and to celebrate, this hotel is giving guests up to 30% off its best room rates when they book in advance.

Delano South Beach

Sitting on Collins Avenue, this Art Deco hotel is steeped in luxury. Straight out of a fairytale, it has a whimsical lawn and poolscape surrounded by draped, all-white cabanas, a private beach, and a lifesize chess board. Kimpton Angler’s Hotel

Built in the 1930s, this Mediterranean revival property is rumored to have been the favorite of Ernest Hemingway.
